What is Cross-Cultural Internship?
The Cross-Cultural Internship (CCI) is a two-year experience developed to be a "first step" onto the mission field for those who are passionate about reaching the next generation for Christ and feeling called to serve overseas with Word of Life for two years. Interns can also be native Japanese who feel called to serve the Lord in their homeland. Interns must have completed two years at Word of Life Bible Institute or comparable Christian University.
Cross-Cultural Interns with Word of Life Japan hold English Café in Himeji, Kid’s Club ministries and other events that use English.
English Café
What is “English Café”?
The Conversational English Café is a relaxing, new style English class that allows Japanese people to talk with native English speakers with Word of Life Japan.
We enjoy coffee, tea, and delicious snacks while we talk to each other.
All guests have their own personal opportunity to answer questions that allow them to share their thoughts on different topics.
We talk about different topics that are prepared each time. If you are not confident in your English ability or you are worried, Japanese staff can help you to understand and communicate with the native speakers.
(Reservations are not necessary; but if you make a reservation, you can be registered smoothly and you are assured a spot at a table according to your English ability. *Students who have a reservation will be prioritized due to the limited number of seats.)
